Team regicide sounds a lot easier to score a victory in. There's no way I can win those alone.

Just hunt the king and try to stay alive. If you aim to be the king the whole time you will just make it harder for yourself. Lay low and stay 2-3 points under the top score and when it gets close to the end gun for the king non stop and you'll win.

Regicide is very fun and easy to win IMO. Being the king is the best part- you dont have to go to them, they come to you. Especially if you have a power weapon- let the good times roll.

A strategy for me is to allow the crowd to swamp the king for a bit, then swoop on in and take the crown. Its easier said than done, however. But it is a viable method.

You dont have to go for the king- you can pick off stragglers trying to make their way to the king, and youll find yourself taking the lead more often. I head the general direction where the king is, then look for anyone walking towards him. Most likely, you will catch them by surprise. This is good too, because killing stragglers means your cutting off the kings food. This aint OddBall anyways.

I don't really understand the Storm Rifle. What is it good for? Its pretty terrible past close range, and it doesn't melt down their shield like the previous games(at least I don't notice it). Anyone know what its uses are?

I guess you're supposed to get the jump on the opponent first or strafe a lot. Plasma weapons run out of ammo way too quick in this game.

The storm rifle is awesome in my opinion. It drops the shields faster than the AR and has way better accuracy than the Supressor. None of the automatic weapons are meant for fighting at any kind of range, the difference in their usefulness is basically whether you are in basic melee range or sword lunge range. Anything beyond that and a good player with a precision weapon should own you. Still there is enough close range fighting in this game that they are still very useful.
