Skyrim

So I'm like lvl 12 and everything is killing me. I wear heavy armor but I still tend to get my ass beat by anything other than a basic zombie and bandits. My attacks don't seem to do much damage and my magic only gets me so far, I remember in Oblivion by the time I was level 12 I was just murdering anything and everything that tried to fight me.

Any who I need to say that being a vampire fucking sucks, I didn't even know I was a vampire until I had already reached the second phase of vampirism. I'm on the first quest for the mages college and I guess some time during it I reached level 3 of my vampirism so now I can't finish the fucking quest because the NPC that needs to help me kill a zombie attacks me on site and doesn't do what he's suppose to. Also the menu screen sucks now I miss being able to read stuff about the Misc quests.

Tell me your character build. You may have an under powered character.

Example: My character is a stealth-based Assassin-Thief. Due to his high sneak skill and my perks, I kill in one hit via sneak attack and I hold my own in the event I get busted. I also use invisibility potions. In short, I use a few skill trees that support each other: Sneak (Main), Lockpicking (main), Archery(secondary), Light Armor (Tertiary) One-handed, and Alchemy(lowest). He's also a good vampire character because being a vampire would entail not being seen when your powers are at their strongest. Because I'm an assassin and thief, I'm not out during day where everyone could see me and try to jump me.

If you're on a high-ass-fuck difficulty setting, then your skills need to support each other. Oblivion was easier in this respect because it told you what the hell you'll be using. lol.

Also, If you're a vampire, then you either need to go to Morthal and get cured, or be stealth-based because you're in shit if you're a straight forward fighting vampire. Straight forward fighting is for Werewolves. ;)

Also... Everyone else. (To prevent a double post)

I've looked around online and I'm hearing yes/no on Oghma infinium glitch still working post 1.4; anyone have a dogmatic answer for me? Does it still work or not?

Lol, dude I posted a while ago. My character is god now, the only real way I get hurt now is if I get jumped by archmage's. My character build before I realized I was to godly to be hurt by anything and used the Infinuim glitch was an assassin. Maxed out sneak with all the perks so everything died if I snuck up on it because my smithing was maxed out along with enchanting meaning I always made ebony weapons. My archery was also relatively high and I used the best bows I could get my hands on. For the most part, once I got the staff that summons dremora lords from the daedra quest I couldn't die. The only real benefit to being a werewolf is the being resistant to all diseases, other than that I never transform since everything kills me in wolf form now.

Description: "If something gets knocked to the floor, you may as well just resign yourself to its new permanent location."

Dawnguard trailer is out on YouTube. Looks like mounted combat, crossbows, spears (wielded by the guy about to get arrow'd in the trailer), a new transformation race (uber vampires!), giant castles, and cool shit are all confirmed.

Also, an except from the book Immortal Blood: "The next day, he did return with more questions, these ones very specific. He wanted to know about the vampires of eastern Skyrim. I told him about the most powerful tribe, the Volkihar, paranoid and cruel, whose very breath could freeze their victims' blood in the veins. I explained to him how they lived beneath the ice of remote and haunted lakes, never venturing into the world of men except to feed."

Awesome! I'm glad it includes more vampire stuff cause vanilla vampires were ridiculous. Can't wait!!!!
