Hey guys. So it seems that smithing and enchanting in this game is quite broken. Even without the fortify restoration loop I was able to achieve just over 3000 damage with my enhanced dwarven crossbow:)
Even on legendary difficulty it is too easy.
So I'm gonna try a strictly no crafting character except alchemy because I like picking flowers and catching butterflies :)
Wish me luck guys, I'm trying this on legendary difficulty. come to think of it, they should have had a hard cap on smithing as +100% or so, regardless of enchantment or potion. I also think they should have had an 85% cost reduction cap, as well as destruction magic damage going up with skill level. I think a dual cast fireball at 100 destruction should do around 400 damage or so.
Maybe one day I will have a PC good enough so I can mod the shit out of it to balance it a little better.
