Skyrim

You tell me how rewarding it is the next time you're shot by an archer off a ledge, or somebody magically back stabs you from 30 feet away.

These are reasons I love this game! Are they supposed to be flaws?

I kid, but at the same time even though I understand that some of the things in Dark Souls come off as pretty unfair, I've never been killed and felt like it wasn't my fault (except in PVP where it lags, but seriously there are so many ways to circumvent PvP, and if you've never played a game with bad lag then I don't know what to tell you). Even those Anor Londo archers have easy patterns to get around them, and the creator never said PVP was supposed to be fair!

That said, I played Skyrim recently and I was instantly bored. Totally not my thing, but then again these games are completely different. Just because they both have swords and dragons doesn't make them similar at all. Play Skyrim if you want to role-play and mess around with its wacky system.

Dark Souls isn't for role-playing, it's for rolling around and dying until you learn how to roll correctly.

I only got shot off that ledge a few times before figuring out the timing(which is actually quite easy.) I've never been backstabbed from 30 feet away so I don't know what that's about, sounds like lag I guess. You can always play in offline mode if you don't like being ganked in PvP. I generally don't find the game unfair, dying is just a part of the learning process.

And if you're Lobo then this game is a lot like Skyrim because, if he's to be believed, he started the game with Combustion and Iron Skin and was able to stand still and cast one spell over and over to win every fight (you cannot do this).

I actually tried this Chuck. It works OKAY till you get to Ornstein and Smough.

Okay Dizzy, Instead of pressing the point I throw the ball to you. Can you come up with any criticisms of your own?

You can't even purchase Combustion until after you kill Capra demon, and then right after that you fight Quelaag who is immune to fire. So you get to use it on Gaping Dragon then Iron Golem, maybe Sif if you feel like going there. Three of the easiest bossess in the game... JUST SAYING, nearly any strategy works on those guys.

I'll stop being Damn I Suck now and arguing after the point has been made, haha.
